Thrio is the straight-ahead sound of Andrew Berinson on piano, Paul Creel on

bass, and Donovan Cheatham on drums. Conceived in central North Carolina,

Thrio performs original music and arrangements of American standards.

Thrio’s debut single, Find Your Way, was released in August 2022, followed by a

full-length album in September 2022, Thrio Volume 1.

Thrio is a group that evolved naturally out of a shared sense of freedom,

creativity, exploration, and love and respect for the jazz tradition. Thrio is a

band with three consistent musical voices, not interchangeable parts. All three

bandmates are in-demand sidemen on a wide array of other musical projects.

The band credits its unique sound to diverse musical influences melding

with a love for swing, and a love for God, the source of all true beauty,

creativity and love.
