Brian E. Miller, a native of Kinston, NC, developed a strong passion for music at an early age. While attending North Carolina Central University to study with Dr. Ira Wiggins, Brian worked with many notables in the jazz community – including trumpet legend Clark Terry, James Moody, Slide Hampton, Dick Oatts, Grady Tate and Nicholas Payton. He traveled to Europe to perform at the Montreux and Vienne Jazz Festivals and at the White House for President Bill Clinton.

As a professional, Brian has performed with vocalists Eve Cornelious, Kim Burrell, Nnenna Freelon, Phil Perry and most recently Dee Dee Bridgewater. He has also shared the stage with the likes of Terrence Blanchard, John Faddis, Branford Marsalis, T.S. Monk Jr., Tim Warfield, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Vincent Gardner and saxophonistle Big Band.

To this day he is sought after by jazz, gospel and R&B musicians alike and is very thankful for all opportunities afforded to him. Brian realizes that his gift of music truly comes from the Good Lord Jesus Christ, and he is always grateful to be able to use what “HE” has given him to be able to bless and entertain others.
