JAZZ BUILDS THE 919

January 10 @ 8:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Join us every Wednesday night at “Jazz Builds the 919” for an immersive musical experience at the Hayti.

Steeped in Tradition: This session pays homage to the legacy of Yusuf Saleem, Brian Horton, Arnold George, and all those who dedicated their lives to Jazz in this community. We honor their memory, aspiring to pour the love they showed for this music back into the community. In their spirit, we celebrate not just the music but the pursuit of excellence.

Future of Jazz: Located near North Carolina Central University (NCCU), renowned for its Jazz program, our session is a magnet for students dedicated to honing their craft. Witness the future of Jazz as these talented individuals join us to share their passion and dedication.

Self-Improvement Hub: Set in the historic Hayti Historic District in Durham, our intimate restaurant/bar is more than a venue; it’s a hub for self-improvement. In the midst of live music, delectable food, and refreshing drinks, we aim to fill your midweek with timeless joy and motivation to pursue the best version of yourself.

Mindful Choices: Not a fan of alcohol? We’ve got you covered. Explore our selection of non-alcoholic drink options, carefully curated to complement your evening of self-discovery and inspiration.
