Give the Drummer Some

The NCCU Jazz Studies Program and Jazz Percussion Professor Thomas Taylor will host the 11th annual Give the Drummer Some Benefit Concert & Workshops on Sunday August 27, 2023.  The event will move off campus this year and will be held at the Sharp Nine Gallery located at 4608 Industry Ln. Durham, NC 27713.

The Concert runs from 6-9pm.

The guest artist this year is New Orleans, LA native Herlin Riley

Alumni performers are Jasmine Best, Scott Bruce, and Theous Jones.

Professor Thomas Taylor’s group will open the concert and Herlin’s group will be the final performer of the night.
